Rental information

The Deer Lagoon Grange Hall can be rented either on a regular basis or for single events. Check with the Hall Rental Calendar below to see which days are free before applying.

Grange Facilities

Our Whidbey Island Historic Building, originally constructed in 1904 has been expanded upgraded and improved over the last century. Today it is a fine multipurpose facility with many great features:


High Speed Computers / Wi-Fi

The Grange has three PCs that it makes available to the public and to members. Along with the computers the Grange provides free Wi-Fi internet access.


Sound System

The Grange has a great sound system that is appropriate for events at our hall. It is a great way to amplify music and or voice for dances and presentations.


Projector and Screen

Our projector works well with lap-top computers and is a great way to make Power Point presentations, or show movies or other visual presentations. Our screen is a wall mounted and is 6 foot wide, appropriate for most presentations.


Dance Floor/Meeting/Reception Room

The nineteenth century bird’s eye maple floor of the main hall is sought out by dancers and instructors alike, not only for the floor but for the acoustics of the main hall. This room is used for Wedding receptions, art displays, birthday celebrations, weddings, church services, meetings, lectures, dances, etc.


Kitchen/Dining Room

The kitchen features a large commercial propane stove with two ovens, a modern dishwasher, three large stainless steel sinks, counter tops, refrigerator, and small microwave oven. The floor for this space is engineered free floating wood. The dining or preparation area of this room is carpeted with a sofa and love seat, tables and chairs.


Chairs and Tables

The building houses an adequate number of tables (6’, 8’ and card ) and chairs (cushioned , folding, and lawn) for almost any event.


Grounds

The property has a paved parking lot, with overflow parking space, 6’ of waterfront on Lone Lake, and a nice view of Lone Lake from the Dining Room.
