ChgOwnOrg.vbs
If you have purchased a used computer or wish to change the name and organization Windows has stored as the registered owner, this little script will allow you do to so without having to enter Regedit and navigate to the place where this information is stored. The file xp_chgownorg.vbs will accomplish the same task under Windows XP. It is taken from Doug Knox's excellent site which has many other excellent tweaks and can be found here.
To use the program
Download ChgOwnOrg.vbs to the hard disk. Double-click on it and a window will appear into which you can type the new Registered Owner name after which another window will appear into which you can type the new Organization's name.
